Many of my relatives often ask me, how much are you going to earn in science field? Yeah they are right! in the means I wish to pursue an academic career and it's not that "Lucrative". I might not be having a big bank balance or a BMW like many of my friends dream of. But! I will be having other "things" in my life. The "things" which are enough to make me happy.
I know many people who make a lot of money. And the best thing is, they don't know where the hell their money is going? They even don't have a big bank balance or a flashy car. Yet they earn a big money.
People often challenge me that once you will have a family you will come to know the actual situation. But I often remember my life till now and I don't think my father was a big earner. His salary is decent but he doesn't have a package of even 100000 lakh, yet he is happy, we are happy.
People often argue that in this time education is quite expensive. You can't even afford the fees and all....blah blah ..bullshit...The time is changing, the time has gone when only mugging up the books were the only career option. We have many other career options as well like photography, music etc. However If you will give enough time to your children they will even not need any kind of extra tuition or guidance. They can get a better coaching at home. You can teach them better.
I have seen many people who are earning a big money but they are not able to enjoy their life. Generally the people from private sector, They don't have time for their wives, kids and parents. They don't have a mental peace. The work becomes the "co-wife" and generally the woman is not tolerable to it. Speaking of women, they are an interesting character which men can not understand at once, but whatever I have learnt about them is that they like attention, not too much but a little. They can find happiness even if you smile at them with true heart. But! the problem is, people are not finding the time for even an inch of smile.(Sorry!! but I should point out here that most of the women I get in contact with are house wives so...)
Even if both the pillars are working, wife as well as the husband yet! I have seen many clashes(But my concern here is to not to discuss about ego issues).
My point is the men is so busy in earning the money that they are spending their entire youth in the hope of a better retirement plan. But here comes the question that who has seen the tomorrow man!??
Life is short, you have to live it in a short life span when all your bones and the muscles are working properly.
For example, you can't postponed a tracking plan to the old age.(And I suppose tracking can be a good fun).
I can give many examples where earning money blindly will lead to unhealthy mental conditions. But I will close it here!
So fellas finally I would like to say that even I might earn a little less but I will have a mental peace(conditions apply :p)
